Fire breaks out on second floor of Folkestone police station in Bouverie Road West

A fire broke out at a town centre police station.
At around 6pm yesterday a fire alarm was activated at the building on Bouverie Road West in Folkestone.
Crews from Kent Fire and Rescue Service attended and discovered a fire which had started in an unoccupied room on the second floor.
The building was evacuated as a precaution while the blaze was dealt with.
No one was injured.
