A fire in an underground parking area in Folkestone last night is being treated as suspicious.
Crews were called at just before 12.30am when a trailer was alight in the parking area in Bayle Street, Folkestone.
Residents in a nearby property were evacuated due to some smoke damage.
The trailer was completely destroyed in the blaze.
Firefighters in two engines were on the scene for around 45 minutes bringing the fire under control to ensure it did not spread.
They used a hose reel jet while wearing breathing apparatus before using a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke from the neighbouring property.
No injuries were reported but the cause is thought to be suspicious.
Kent Police are also investigating the incident.
