Fire crews tackled flat fire in Wear Bay Road, Folkestone

Firefighters tackled a blaze in a block of flats in Folkestone last night.
Crews were called to the two-storey building in Wear Bay Road at 6.56pm.
Two pumps were sent to the property where teams extinguished a fire under the communal stairwell.
They used a hose reel jet and breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze.
Luckily there were no injuries.
Police were also called to the scene and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
