Firefighters are set to return to the scene of a bonfire today which they brought under control in a field near Folkestone last night.
Fire crews responded to reports of a large fire in a field next to the Rose and Crown pub in Crown Lane, Stelling Minnis at around 8.15pm.
Staff at the fire service's Emergency Control Centre were alerted to the blaze by a police patrol in the area.
Two engines were quickly sent and crews discovered about 30 tonnes of rubbish well alight in the field.
Just one fire engine remained shortly after 10pm and responsibility was handed over to the owner just before 11pm.
Firefighters will be revisiting the area today.
The landlord of the Rose and Crown pub confirmed this morning that no evacuation of the pub was necessary as it took place in the field next door to pub site.
The venue is also open as normal today.
