Five arrests after New Year’s Day brawl at Folkestone pub

Five arrests have been made after violence erupted at a pub during New Year celebrations.
Police and paramedics were called to a disturbance at the Park Inn, Folkestone, involving a group at about 1.45am on Monday.
The ambulance service treated people for injuries at the pub in Radnor Park Road and two people were taken to hospital.
A police spokesman said: “Two 26-year-old men, a 27-year-old man, a 37-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of affray.
“An investigation is ongoing and officers are urging anyone with information that could assist them with their enquiries, including mobile phone footage, to come forward.”
