Freight is having to wait up to five hours for the Eurotunnel service at Folkestone after a fire brought traffic to a standstill at the weekend.
It follows a lorry fire and power supply problems over the weekend.
Freight traffic is having to wait an hour and a half just to check in, and passengers are having to wait up to an hour at Folkestone.
Thousands of passengers were originally affected after the fire on Saturday - both on Eurotunnel and Eurostar services.
Rolling roadblocks were earlier set up to ease the congestion.
