Third floor flat fire in Trimworth Road, Folkestone, after cooking left unattended

Flats in Folkestone were evacuated after a person in the third floor flat left their cooking unattended.
Crews from Folkestone and Dover were called to a reported flat fire in Trimworth Road at about 5.30pm yesterday.
When they arrived they found it was heavily smoke logged.
Watch manager Heather Heath said: "Cooking had been left unattended and filled the flat with smoke.
"We used breathing apparatus and a hose reel.
"The other flats were cleared and one male inside the building was given a precautionary check."
The flat was noticeably smoke damaged.
Crews left the scene at 6.45pm.
