The cause of a car fire in Folkestone in the early hours of the morning is unknown.
Firefighters were called to the Pilgrim Springs area of the town at 5am to reports of a Toyota alight.
When they arrived they found the car already well ablaze.
But a spokesman for Folkestone fire station this morning said they did not know how it started.
The fire was contained to the engine area and crews put it out wearing breathing apparatus.
But the spokesman said they were unable to tell if it had been started deliberately.
