10:30, 23 November 2017
Floral tributes have been left at a pub where a man died following a shooting.
The victim, named locally as landlord Joe Daniels, 58, was pronounced dead at the scene yesterday, just before 11.30 am, following an incident at the Red Cow pub in Foord Road.
Mr Daniel's next of kin have been notified and a firearm was seized at the scene by police.
Overnight, flowers and a candle were left outside the pub which remains cordoned off by police.
Online tributes have been pouring in on social media, describing Mr Daniel's as a 'lovely' man.
One person, believed to be a family member, wrote: "Heartbroken to say the least...
"Thinking of all our family right now...
"Our Joe was your typical Mr Nice Guy... was loved by all in our family and will be sorely missed by each and everyone of us."
