Police are appealing for witnesses after a gang of youths attacked two men and a woman at a Folkestone sports ground.
As many as 12 yobs, believed to be teenagers, punched, kicked and stamped on the trio as they left the Three Hills Sports Park, with one man suffering a broken and dislocated ankle.
The girlfriend of one of the victims tried to dial for help, but was reportedly punched in the face, and her mobile phone was then stamped on and thrown over a fence.
Officers were called to the ground at Cheriton Road between 11pm and 11.30pm on Friday.
One of the suspects is described as being a white boy, 5ft 6in tall, wearing a burgundy and grey hooded top and grey tracksuit bottoms.
Another was a black man who was bare-chested, wearing a black rucksack, with hair shaved at the sides and long on top.
The gang are believed to have been hanging around in the area for some time before the incident, and officers are hopeful someone may have seen them, or know who they are.
Anyone with information is asked to call the appeal line on 01843 222289 and quote reference ZY/23005/16 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
