Roundhill Tunnel fire being investigated as suspicious by police

A huge grass fire that happened last week in Folkestone is now being treated as suspicious by police.
The Roundhill Tunnel on the A20 could be seen smoking for miles on Friday evening.
But police now calling for anyone with information about the blaze on grazing land in Crete Road West to come forward as part of the investigation.
A police spokesman said: "Police are investigating a report that an area of grazing land, in Crete Road West, Folkestone, was set alight on Friday April 6.
"Officers were called to the scene at 5.22pm on and assisted crews from Kent Fire and Rescue Service.
"The cause of the fire is not known but it is believed to be suspicious."
