A high street was cordoned off by police for more than 14 hours after a collision.
There was a massive emergency services response in Sandgate High Street following the incident yesterday evening (Wednesday).
The area remained cordoned off throughout the night to allow accident investigation work to be carried out. The road reopened just after 7.30am.
Last night, a witness told KentOnline there were at least 10 emergency units at the scene.
“The road is entirely blocked off heading from Sandgate High Street towards Seabrook,” he said.
“A police cordon stretches across the road's width, while a Stagecoach bus and at least nine emergency service vehicles can be seen inside the cordon.
“Traffic is being asked to turn around in both directions, while emergency service helicopters appear to have left the area.”
Police, ambulance and fire services have been contacted for more information.
