Eurotunnel services are back to normal after passengers trying to get to the Continent during the Bank Holiday faced severe delays.
The Channel Tunnel Le Shuttle service said on its website yesterday (Saturday) that there were waiting times of six hours on the Folkestone terminal.
The delays were said to be due to an earlier broken down train and an earlier technical fault in the Tunnel, which has since been resolved.
A spokesman had said: "We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this will cause."
This morning (Sunday) the website said: "Our passenger service is currently operating to schedule with up to two departures per hour."
