Woman suffers burns as flat fire in Sandgate Road, Folkestone, sparks huge emergency response

A woman suffered burns in a town centre flat fire which sparked a huge emergency response.
Two fire engines, a fire service vehicle and an ambulance were spotted in Sandgate Road, Folkestone, shortly after 2pm.
Crews were called following reports of the blaze at a property near the Coastal Hardware tool shop.
The incident led to one woman suffering burns and being attended to by paramedics.
The fire service has confirmed the blaze has now been put out, although its cause remains unknown.
