Teenagers armed with kitchen knife and hammer demanded cash from Mace newsagents in Sidney Street, Folkestone

Two teenagers armed with a hammer and a kitchen knife demanded cash from the till of a newsagents.
Police are investigating the attempted robbery at Mace newsagents in Sidney Street, Folkestone.
The CCTV images have been released today in a bid to trace witnesses.
The staff member behind the till refused to hand any cash over and the pair ran out of the shop and down Green Lane, which links Joyes Road to Canterbury Road.
The incident happened at 9.30pm on Saturday, January 7.
