Quantity of gold stolen from a house in Lewis Road, Hawkinge

A quantity of gold was reportedly stolen from a house in a daytime burglary.
The incident happened between 10.30am and 3pm on Tuesday, January 31 at an address in Lewis Road, Hawkinge.
Police say that a glass door at the rear of the house was broken to gain entry and that gold and a watch was stolen.
A police spokesman said: "Officers would like to speak to a man who was seen in the area and may be able to help them with their inquiries.
"He is described as white, around 20 years old, 5ft 8ins, with short light brown hair.
"He was wearing a black coat, grey tracksuit trousers and black trainers."
