Investigation into affray launched after reports of fighting in Foord Road in Folkestone

Members of the public have expressed concern following an incident of a group fighting in Foord Road, Folkestone.
Police were called to the scene at 3.45pm yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon.
Pictures emerged on social media this afternoon which shows a group acting aggressively and holding a piece of wood as a weapon.
People commented expressing their anger and concern at it happening in broad daylight.
A witness who wished to remain anonymous said: "As my husband turned into Foord Road there was a silver car facing him and he stopped to overtake it.
"A group came running over to the car and tried dragging the driver out."
A spokesman for Kent Police said: "Kent Police is investigating an incident of affray which took place at 3.45pm on Wednesday 25 September in Foord Road, Folkestone.
"Officers were called to the scene following reports of a group of four or five people fighting.
"The offenders had left the scene before officers arrived and investigations are on going."
