Police referral to IOPC after man suffers serious injuries after falling from window of property in Lennard Road, Folkestone

A man who was airlifted to hospital after an incident in Folkestone had fallen from a window.
Kent Police were called to Lennard Road to carry out a routine enquiry at around 6pm yesterday when the incident happened.
While attending, a man at the address fell from a window of the building and sustained serious injuries.
It's believed to have happened at flats on the corner of Lennard Road and Ryland Place.
The air ambulance is reported to have landed nearby and the man was airlifted to a London hospital for treatment.
Following the incident, a mandatory referral has been made to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC).
