It's certainly beginning to look a lot like Christmas down one Kent street.

When it comes to celebrating the festive season, the residents of Mount Pleasant Close in Lyminge clearly don't do things by halves.

Because every house is adorned with spectacular Christmas lights.

Bobbie-Louise Willis, from Dover, drove to the village near Folkestone especially this evening to see the stunning illuminations.

She had heard about them from a friend - and says there were a few others who had travelled from afar to witness the spectacle.

Ms Willis says about 12 houses had made the extra special effort.

Asked if this could be Kent's most festive street, she said: "Yes, 100% tops anything I've seen over the years."

Judging by the dazzling display, there can't be many Scrooges in Mount Pleasant Close.

We think it's safe to say that come December 25, Santa won't miss this street.

This year, donations made by visitors will go to Folkestone schoolgirl Maya Nash who has been receiving cancer treatment in America.

Part of the money raised will also be donated to The British Heart Foundation, Cancer Research, MS Society and Hythe & Lyminge Age UK.
