Motorists have been warned to avoid a traffic jam building from the entrance of the War and Peace Show back to the motorway.
Those attending the event at the former Folkestone Racecourse have reported long delays from junction 11 of the M20 along the A20 because of trouble getting into the site.
Among them was driver Ant Watson who said that tempers are frayed on the roads, with some drivers getting out of their cars and quarrelling.
He said: “I’d like to warn anyone who can avoid junction 11 to do so. It’s the War and Peace Show, but it’s turned into a war on the roads show, and with the weekend it could get busier.
“I’ve seen three men getting out of their car, and a couple of cars tapping each other with drivers cutting each other up.”
The War and Peace Show has been running since Tuesday, and will also be running for its final day tomorrow.
