Woman bailed in murder investigation after former Folkestone teenager Jayden Parkinson's body found in grave in Didcot in Oxfordshire

A woman arrested by detectives investigating the murder of a former Kent teenager has been released on bail.

The body of 17-year-old Jayden Parkinson, who used to live in Folkestone, was discovered in a disturbed grave in Oxfordshire last December.

A 48-year-old, from Didcot, being held by police on suspicion of perverting the course of justice has now been released on police bail Friday, March 14.

Jayden's former boyfriend - 22-year-old Ben Blakeley, from Reading - has been charged with her murder and perverting the course of justice.

A 17-year-old boy from Didcot has also been charged with perverting the course of justice.

Earlier this month, Jayden's funeral was held at St Martin's Church in Horn Street, Cheriton.

Hundreds of mourners gathered before the teenager was laid to rest in the church cemetery surrounded by flowers.

Jayden and her family lived in Tennyson Place in Folkestone before moving away several years ago.

She went missing from Didcot, Oxfordshire, near where the family was living, in December.

Two weeks later her body was found in a church cemetery in Didcot.
