Folkestone burglary in Wear Bay Road as police launch investigation

Police are investigating after jewellery and cash were stolen from a house during a daylight break-in.

The raid happened in Wear Bay Road in Folkestone in the middle of the day.

The suspects are thought to have entered at the back of the property, and fled via a footpath.

Several pieces of jewellery were taken along with cash between 11.30am and 2.15pm on Tuesday.

Officers investigating the burglary are now appealing for witnesses.

Police think the suspects used a footpath between Wear Bay Road and Warren Way before or after the incident.
