Officers investigating an alleged armed robbery at a post office in Folkestone have arrested a man.
Police arrested a 50-year-old and took him in for questioning in connection with the incident yesterday morning.
A man reportedly threatened staff with a knife and demanded cash at the Dover Road Post Office at 9.25am.
But staff refused and the suspect then left the shop on foot, a police spokesman said.
The man has been remanded in custody but has not been charged.
