A car fire caused long tailbacks on the A20 this morning.
The vehicle was ablaze near Folkestone before the Roundhill Tunnel on the London-bound stretch.
A video captured at 7.10am today showed the huge fire before emergency services arrived at the scene.
A huge plume of black smoke could be seen in the area, with long delays on the approach to the scene.
The vehicle has since been cleared and traffic is moving in the area again.
“Two fire engines attended and crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the flames using hose reel jets,” a fire service spokesman said.
“No injuries were reported and the cause is believed to be accidental.”
