Horse near Junction 13, Cheriton of M20 motorway coastbound is causing traffic chaos

A horse is causing chaos on the M20 .

Motorists are warned to expect delays near Junction 13 (Cheriton), coastbound.

The Highways Agency warned drivers to approach with caution while the horse is safely removed.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: "We have assisted an owner who was travelling on the M20 and experienced a problem with their horse box.

"The problem necessitated the owner to having to stop and remove the horse on the hard shoulder.

"Officers are at the scene helping the owner and ensuring the safety of the horse and motorists."
