A motorway lane has been closed following a crash between a lorry and a car.

Police were called at 10.30am today to the scene on the coastbound M20 between the Junction 11a Channel Tunnel turnoff and the Junction 12 Cheriton exit.

The inside lane has been closed for the clearance of debris but traffic is still moving.

Police have warned motorists to slow down as they approach the area.

South East Coast Ambulance Service was alerted but there are so far no reports of injuries.
