M20 closed coastbound between Junction 11a and Junction 12 after medical incident

Part of the M20 was closed following a medical incident in a vehicle.
Officers shut the coastbound carriageway between Junction 11a for the Channel Tunnel and Junction 12 for Cheriton at 3.20pm.
A police car was seen across the motorway just after Junction 11a.
In a statement, police said: "We were called to assist the ambulance service following a medical incident in a vehicle between Junctions 11A and 12 of the M20 at 3.20pm.
"The carriageway was blocked while the incident was responded to but reopened at about 4.20pm."
A spokesman from South East Coast Ambulance Service confirmed ambulance crews attended the scene and a person was assessed and treated before being taken in a serious condition to hospital.
