Air ambulance called in to help cyclist in Dawson Road, Folkestone
10:11, 25 June 2023
There was a major emergency response last night after a cyclist reportedly collapsed in a residential street.
Police and medics – including the Kent Air Ambulance – were called around 8.30pm to the corner of Shepway Close and Dawson Road in Folkestone.
It has been reported locally that the cyclist, who is believed to be a man, collapsed and died.
However, this has not been confirmed by the police or ambulance service, both of which have been contacted for information.
A passerby said they saw medics treating the cyclist in the road when they drove past the scene.
The air ambulance landed in a nearby park.
