Man flown to hospital with serious head injury after assault in Folkestone

A man was airlifted to hospital with a serious head injury after an assault.
The incident happened yesterday (Thursday) in New Street, Folkestone at around 1.15pm.
Police and ambulance services were called after a man in his 40s was reportedly assaulted in the road.
The air ambulance was also called out, and the man was flown to a London hospital with a serious head injury.
A 41-year-old man and 18-year-old man, both from Folkestone, have since been arrested on suspicion of assault.
Police are now appealing for help.
Officers investigating the incident are appealing for witnesses, people with dashcam footage of an altercation in New Street, or anyone with information to come forward.
