Man in court following burglary and assault in Folkestone when boy, 15, was punched

A man has appeared in court following a burglary and assault in Folkestone in which a 15-year-old boy was punched in the face.
Jack Hennessey, of Pollyfield Close in Snodland, near Maidstone, appeared before Channel Magistrates on Saturday charged with assault and breaking into a property with a knife.
He was remanded in custody.
The charge relates to an incident in Beatty Road on Sunday, October 20 in which a teenager was punched in the face and a woman had a tooth knocked out.
Mr Hennessey, 26, was also charged with stealing a Samsung mobile phone, Apple iPad and a quantity of cash.
Police were called to the incident at around 8pm.
A Kent Police spokesman confirmed investigations are continuing into in the incident, which involved two men.
