Man arrested as police investigate reports of multiple damaged cars in Folkestone

A suspect has been arrested after reports of criminal damage to a number of cars in the early hours of this morning.
Kent Police is investigating the cicumstances surrounding damage caused to the vehicles on residential streets in Folkestone between 4am and 5am.
Officers are appealing for witnesses, or anyone with private CCTV in the Foreland Avenue, Warren Way, Warren Road, Wear Bay Road and Warren Close areas of the town, to come forward.
A 38-year-old man from Folkestone was arrested and taken into custody where he remains while enquiries are ongoing.
People who believe their vehicles may have been damaged but have not yet reported it are also urged to phone Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting 46/57381/22.
