Drug raid in Folkestone: Man charged accused of growing cannabis

A man has been charged by police accused of growing 90 cannabis plants in Folkestone.

It follows a police raid on a property in Bradstone Avenue in December.

Jeremy Clinton Izod, 40, of Bradstone Avenue has now been charged with producing cannabis and abstracting electricity, police said.

He was initially arrested following the raid by officers on December 7.

Neighbours said at the time they saw 15 officers kicking down the door to the house.

Izod is due to appear before magistrates on March 8.

A second man arrested in connection with the raid by police has been released without charge.
