Man who fell onto tracks at Folkestone Central station dies in hospital

A man who was taken to hospital after falling onto railway tracks has died.
Emergency services were called to Folkestone Central station yesterday after the man fell onto the line.
Trains due to run through the station were halted while police and paramedics dealt with the incident.
The air ambulance was called and the victim was airlifted to hospital in a serious condition.
Speaking at the time of the incident, a spokeswoman for British Transport Police said: "Officers were called to Folkestone Central station at 12.25pm following reports that a man had fallen onto the tracks and suffered a medical episode.
"Paramedics also attended and the man has been taken by air ambulance to hospital for treatment."
Tragically, it has been confirmed this morning that the victim passed away after reaching hospital.
