Elderly man airlifted to London hospital with serious injuries after incident in Earls Avenue, Folkestone

An elderly man has been airlifted to a London hospital from Folkestone after suffering serious injuries.
Paramedics from SECAmb along with the air ambulance crew were called to a report of an incident at the back of a car park to Edinburgh Place in Earls Avenue.
It happened at around 11.10pm last night where it was reported that a man had suffered serious injuries.
The man, thought to be in his 80s, was treated at the scene, and then flown to King College Hospital.
The nature and cause of his injuries are not yet known.
A Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance spokeswoman said: "I can confirm that our crew were in attendance and arrived at the scene at 23.15 where they assisted with the patient.
"Our crew conveyed the patient to hospital by air."
