Appeal after man is attacked near Lidl in Folkestone

A man was taken to hospital after sustaining a serious head injury following an attack near Lidl.
An investigation has been launched by police following the late night assault, which happened on steps between Grace Hill and Foord Road South in Folkestone yesterday.
Officers were called to the scene at 12.25am, and the victim was taken to hospital for treatment.
Witnesses are now being urged to come forward.
A spokesman for Kent Police said: "Detectives are working to establish the circumstances and anyone with private CCTV in the area, or who has information regarding the incident, should call Kent Police."
