Police are investigating a robbery after a Folkestone man was allegedly attacked in his home.
A man aged between 20 and 25 is believed to have attacked the victim in his home in Harbour Way, around 10.20am on Monday, leaving him with a cut to his hand.
He said the suspect then ran along Harbour Way, past the Post Office in Dover Road before turning into an alleyway.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward and would particularly like to speak to three women who were in the area at the time.
One woman was using the cash machine at the Dover Road Post Office around 10.20am and the other two were seen walking along Harbour Way and Dover Road around the same time. One of the women was carrying a red handbag and a bag for life.
Officers believe the women may not have been aware of the reported crime but would have seen the suspect.
He is described as being white with short dark hair, and was wearing a light hooded top with a dark coloured torso, blue tracksuit trousers with white stripes and trainers.
