Man killed after being hit by lorry on A20 near Folkestone

A man has been killed after he was hit by a lorry near a bus stop.
The victim, who is in his 30s, had just got out of his parked Opel Vectra when he was struck by the HGV on the A20 near Folkestone.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, near Peene, yesterday morning.
Police have launched an investigation and are appealing for witnesses of the fatal collision to come forward.
The incident happened near the bus stop opposite The Street at 8.35am.
The victim's next of kin have been informed.
