Police investigation launched after a man was killed at the STOP 24 services near junction 11 of the M20 in Folkestone

A driver has died after being hit by an HGV at a lorry park in Folkestone.
Police were called to the STOP 24 services near junction 11 of the M20 at 11pm last night following reports a man had been killed.
It is understood a Bulgarian registered HGV, which had been in the overnight parking area, was involved in a slow speed collision with a 35-year-old Polish lorry driver.
Officers from the serious collision investigation unit attended the scene and are now appealing for information on the incident.
Police say the HGV driver has not been arrested following the collision.
