Man charged with string of offences after items were stolen from shops in Folkestone

A man has been charged with a string of offences after alcohol, cosmetics and cleaning products were stolen from shops in Folkestone.
Andrew Short, 37, has been charged with shoplifting, theft and burglary after a number of items were taken from shops this month and in August.
Short, of no fixed address, has been charged with six counts of theft from a shop, and has also been charged with burglary, after a television was taken from the property in Dymchurch, and the theft of £100 in the same town.
Mr Short appeared before Medway Magistrates' Court yesterday and was remanded in custody to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday, October 26.
