Folkestone man Alan Horley charged with sex offences

A man has been charged with a range of sex offences including sexually touching a child over the course of three years.
Alan Horley has appeared in court facing charges following a police investigation in Folkestone.
Horley’s alleged crimes reportedly took place over the course of almost 20 years.
He has been charged with sexually touching a child under the age of 13 over the course of three years between 2004 and 2007.
He has also been charged with sexual assault on a woman between 2020 and 2021, as well as failing to comply with the terms of the sex offenders’ register in 2023.
The 47-year-old, of no fixed address, appeared before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court today to face the charges.
He was remanded in custody to appear before Canterbury Crown Court on Monday, October 23.
