Man ‘stabbed in head’ near Foord Road, Folkestone

Police are hunting suspects after a man was reportedly stabbed in the head in the street.
The alleged victim was found near Foord Road in Folkestone at around 7.20pm on Thursday, September 7, with serious but not life-changing injuries.
Police say it is believed at around 7pm that evening the man was assaulted by two men who are known to him on a footpath near the top of the steps which lead off Bradstone Avenue.
A spokesperson for the force said: “The victim sustained a head injury consistent with a stab wound and he was taken to a local hospital. His injuries are not described as life-changing.
“Officers are working to establish the circumstances of the incident and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.”
Detectives investigating the assault are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Anyone who has private CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage from that time from the area surrounding St John's Street, Mount Pleasant Road and Bradstone Avenue is also asked to contact police.
