Man taken to hospital after being hit by van on zebra crossing in Sandgate Esplanade, near Folkestone

A man has been taken to hospital after being hit by a van on a zebra crossing.
Police were called to the incident in Sandgate Esplanade, near Folkestone, at 9.15am yesterday.
Officers and paramedics attended the scene where a man was found to have sustained injuries from the collision.
He was taken to the William Harvey Hospital and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The road was clear by about 10.30am.
