Deal teen arrested after 'assaulting man and throwing paving slabs' in Folkestone

A man has been arrested after reportedly assaulting another man and throwing paving slabs at people.
Police were called to a road in Folkestone following reports of the incident last night.
Witnesses described hearing "shouting and screaming" coming from Cheriton Road at around 11.10pm.
Emergency services attended the scene after reports a man had assaulted another man.
The suspect is also reported to have acted aggressively towards other members of the public and thrown paving slabs at them.
Officers arrested an 18-year-old man from Deal on suspicion of assault, criminal damage and a public order offence.
He remains in custody pending further enquiries.
No serious injuries were reported from the incident.
