Police search for man after fatal Folkestone fire

Police are no longer searching for a 24-year-old man after a suspected fatal arson attack.
Officers wanted to speak to the man after a person was found dead following a suspicious house fire in Folkestone.
Emergency services were called to Shorncliffe Road at 10.30am on Thursday to reports of a blaze at a property opposite the junction with Christ Church Road.
Paramedics also attended and the person was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation by the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate is working to establish the circumstances of the death and the fire.
Officers believed the man may have information in relation to the blaze and are appealing for help in tracking him down.
A 24-year-old man has now been arrested on suspicion of murder.
