A sudden onset of backpain caused a man to fall over a wall, sparking an emergency response.
The ambulance was called to Sunny Sands beach at 7.55am on Tuesday to reports a man “was on the floor”.
One dog walker said he saw the man laying on the path above the beach and saw the ambulance crew rushing along with a stretcher.
One ambulance attended, parked up at The Stade and assessed the man, in his 30s, who was working there.
Rich Airey, the ambulance service spokesman, said: “He had fallen over a 2ft wall.
“He had a sudden onset of back pain.
“The patient was able to be checked over and was not taken in for further treatment.
“He was given some onward advice.”
It was thought the crew were going to revisit the site later today to check the man’s condition.
