Two men arrested over reported robbery in Folkestone

Two men have been arrested following a report of a robbery in Folkestone.

The incident happened at 10.52pm last night in Park Farm Road.

A 69-year-old man from Liverpool has told officers that two men had assaulted him and taken a quantity of money after they offered him a lift.

Police attended the scene and arrested the two men, a 23-year-old and a 53-year-old both from Folkestone, on suspicion of robbery.

They both remain in custody.
