Gang steals barbecue in unprovoked attack at Lower Leas Coastal Park, Folkestone

Two men having a barbecue in a park were attacked by a gang who stole their grill, along with cash and a mobile phone.
The attack happened between 4.30pm and 5pm on Monday, May 30, at the Lower Leas Coastal Park.
Two men were having a barbecue near the bottom of the zigzag path in the park when they were assaulted by four men aged between 18 and 25-years-old.
They reportedly stole a portable stereo, a mobile phone and a wallet containing £30.
The two victims suffered cuts to their heads that required attention at hospital.
Police cons Christopher Horan, who is investigating, said: "This was an unprovoked attack that left two men requiring hospital treatment.
"We would be keen speak to anybody in the park who witnessed the robbery or has any information that may help us with our inquiries."
