Folkestone: Cannabis worth £30,000 seized from car in Cheriton Road

Two men were set to appear in court today following a drugs raid where cannabis totaling £30,000 was seized.

Officers from Shepway Community Policing Team recovered a quantity of the class B drugs from a car in Cheriton Road, Folkestone, on Monday night.

Two men were arrested shortly afterwards.

Liaim Geci, 25-years-old of no fixed address, was charged with possession with intent to supply Class B drugs, possession of a false identity document, driving a vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence and using a vehicle without third party insurance.

Akil Gecaj, 18, of no fixed address, was charged with possession with intent to supply Class B drugs.

Both are due to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court today.
