Folkestone man arrested on suspicion of murder after woman dies in Shorncliffe Road house fire

Police have arrested a man on suspicion of murder following a fatal house fire in Folkestone.
A woman died in the blaze at a property in Shorncliffe Road on Thursday morning.
Investigating officers have now made an arrest following the suspected arson attack.
A 24-year-old man remains in remains in police custody while inquiries continue.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene at 10.30am on Thursday.
The arrested man is from Folkestone.
Officers are still appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
