Murder squad detectives seek Timothy Keith Avril in connection with death of Gus Allman found stabbed in Folkestone

Detectives investigating the murder of a 20-year-old in Folkestone have today named a man they are hunting.

Gus Allman died in hospital after being found stabbed in Dover Road on Wednesday, February 19.

Now police are appealing for 22-year-old Timothy Keith Avril to come forward and help with their inquiries.

Officers from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate are keen to speak to him as part of their investigation.

He is described as 5ft 9ins, slim and with a London accent. Mr Avril is known to visit areas of south east London.

Police were called to the Dover Road area of Folkestone between 7pm and 7.30pm after Mr Allman was found with stab wounds.

Mr Allman, from Sydenham, in south east London, was treated by ambulance staff in Wood Avenue and taken to hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

A 38-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman arrested in connection with his death have been bailed pending further inquiries.
